‘Jersey Shore’: Mike ‘The Situation’ loses ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ battle

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino now has to face a new goal: a life without a reality show to call home. While he was in the “Celebrity Big Brother” house this season, it was revealed that his hit MTV series “Jersey Shore” was going to fist-pump its way out of the spotlight after six seasons on the air.

Now, we also know that Mike’s other show is now at an end. After almost a month in Great Britain on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, he ended up finishing in fourth place behind eventual winner Julian Clary (who is a famous satirist across the pond) and two other contestants. He did make it all the way to finale night, but that was still not enough to secure the grand prize at the end of the day.

In a post on Twitter after everything was said and done, The Situation had the following message to share with his fans:

“I just want to take a moment and thank everyone who voted. I’m so grateful for all of your support! I was truly amazing to be apart of #cbb

The Situation has clearly been among the show’s most-popular male stars, but he may also be one of the guys with the biggest need to stay in the spotlight. He has invested himself in a number of business ventures, and has already appeared on such other reality shows as “The Choice” and “Dancing with the Stars,” where he proved that years in the club does not equal being a ballroom success story by any stretch of the imagination.
