If you have read some of our “Dexter” scoop time and time again over the past several weeks, then you already know one thing to be rather true: we are in for an intense and quite incredible season of the Showtime drama series. The cliffhanger involving Deb knowing the truth at least in part about the Dark Passenger sets the stage for a different side of the show than we have ever known before, one that features someone knowing Dexter’s secret who has known him ever since he was a baby. This is a long time to hide something, and it is far different than someone like Miguel Prado, Lila, or Lumen figuring it out.
We know that this is going to be a game-changer, but executive producer Sara Colleton does her best to reiterate just how much the show will be different in a new interview with E! News:
“[This has] absolutely rocked his world. He has to learn to live with at any moment she could, if she wanted, to turn him in.”
As for whether or not Deb will turn her brother in for killing Travis Marshall, it does not look like it will happen right away; however, that does not mean that she will put it out of sight and out of mind. Jennifer Carpenter’s character will continue to struggle with what to as the year progresses, and you also have to consider that she is not dumb enough to believe forever that Marshall is the oly person that Dexter has ever killed.
How long do you think that it is going to take Deb to figure out the rest of Dexter’s dark secret? We want to hear some of your conspiracy theories below!
