‘The X Factor’ USA: New interviews via Demi Lovato, Britney Spears

Just in case you have not seen enough footage already of some of the judges on “The X Factor” talking about their upcoming season, we now have more courtesy of the show’s official site. This time around, the talent and even playful banter is washed away in favor of some interview answers via Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, and Demi Lovato.

You can watch these three videos below, and we also have some general impressions of them for your reading pleasure.

Britney Spears – Surprisingly, Britney said that she really sided with Cowell during some of the more intense arguments on the show about talent, mostly because she is of the belief that being a star is so much more than just having a great voice and knowing how to use it.

Britney also said that her experiences being in the spotlight have enabled her to be fairly sympathetic to the contestants. She knows what they are working for, and can advise them as to how to avoid some of the struggles that she went through during some of the past several years.

Demi Lovato – Demi, meanwhile, was all about being in the now. She claims that what she will be bringing to the show this year is not only a sense of enthusiasm and fun, but also an understanding of what works in the industry today and what doesn’t. She plans on being a nice judge, but she will not be afraid to tell it like it is when the going gets tough.

Simon Cowell – We already know the sort of judge Simon is going to be, so what he stressed instead is that the show is very different this time around. He likes the new energy, new judges, and says that he is looking for things this year that are far from what he was looking for while filming past auditions for Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

What are you the most excited about when it comes to this upcoming season?┬áIf you want to see another playful video of Simon “warning” Demi about getting too close to One Direction member Niall Horan, you can do so by visiting the link here.
