Just over two years after first meeting and falling in love on season 12 of “Big Brother,” and less than one year after she won the 13th season of the show in a very close vote, Rachel Reilly married Brendon Villegas in a glamorous ceremony Saturday on top of the AT&T Center in downtown Los Angeles. There was a very distinct “Big Brother” presence to the wedding, as season 12 contestant Matt Hoffman officiated the ceremony while another power couple in Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd (from seasons 11 and 13) was in attendance.
Speaking to People Magazine in a new interview, the celebrity wedding planner behind the event in David Tutera (of the WEtv show “My Fair Wedding”) had the following to say about one of Rachel’s bigger demands for the event: arriving to the rooftop via helicopter:
“She wanted to arrive like a big celebrity … The guests will watch her arrive on live camera before she walks down the aisle, which to me is one of the most over the top processionals ever.”
Rachel wore a rather elaborate dress to her wedding in a sequined white dress with lots of drama to it (just like Rachel). This also should not in many ways come as a surprise, mostly because Rachel has been known over the years for over-the-top events whether it be through her time on ‘Big Brother’, or the sequined outfit that she wore on “The Amazing Race” recently. Brendon & Rachel came in third this past season, and were just a few moves away from the grand prize.
