In case you have not heard the news online already, there is something breaking from the world of “Glee.” Only a number of days after Elton John was reported as having a meeting with Naya Rivera, it’s now been confirmed that the legendary “Your Song” singer has signed her in some sort of official capacity.
Speaking as a part of a new interview with “ET Canada,” Elton had the following to say about the booking:
“I would love to do ‘Glee,’ but I haven’t found time in my schedule. We just signed Naya Rivera. I have a management company and we just signed [her] to my management company.”
If you follow “Glee” closely, then you already know that Rivera is far from the first person associated with the show to spend time with the music legend. Matthew Morrison not only has recorded some music with him in the past for his self-titled debut album, but he also has contributed to his charity fighting the spread of AIDS while also raising awareness for the cause.
If you love Naya and have been missing her on your TV, there’s no reason to fret: all-new episodes of “Glee” are set to officially start airing again beginning on Thursday, September 12 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. As for what she is going to be up to, we know that her character of Santana is going to struggle with being away from all of her former New Directions members while at the University of Louisville, and it’s possible that she could end up being in New York by the time season 4 is over.
