The Power of Veto Competition is coming up in the “Big Brother 14” house, and since we may be a little bit late when it comes to announcing who is the winner of it today (feel free to add it in the comments below), we wanted to provide a little bit of a primer before it happens.
It is going to be an interesting situation for most of the houseguests to be in at the moment, and we really think that there is some incentive for four out of the five people playing to try hard. The only one who may face a bad decision in winning it is Danielle, and that is because she would not want to be held responsible in any way for sending Shane out the door by not removing him as a nominee and forcing Ian to put up Dan. Otherwise, here is what we are looking at:
-In the event that Ian or Dan wins, you can be pretty much assured that they would keep the nominations the same.
-If Jenn somehow manages to win (which is unlikely given that her only competition win in the past was thanks to Frank breaking the rules), she will remove herself, and then Dan will have to fight hard to get Danielle put up as a replacement. Ian would be worried about exposing his “Renegades 2.0” pact with Dan, but if he puts the guy up, he may think it to be possible that both Jenn and Danielle would vote him out and keep Shane. (In reality, they both would probably vote to keep him, but that would expose to Ian Dan’s new alliance.)
-If Shane wins, Dan will once again have to push for Danielle, but this will be less of an issue given that Dan and Shane would just vote to evict Jenn. It’s not exactly what Dan wants to happen, but Danielle is the sort of person that neither of these guys wants to lose at the moment.
Who do you want to see win this challenge? If you want more updates from the “Big Brother” house, you can see Dan’s morning monologue over at this link.
