I don’t think the new spin-off Legacies would mention if any of the players in the Originals would be in the show. Not until the Originals is final and the audience gets to know who if any of the Mikaelson’s (a part from Hope) is still alive. The show runners do want us to watch the Originals and some wouldn’t if they found out a favorite family member had died.
