We may not know the nominations just yet in the “Big Brother 14” house, but we do at least know one more thing now than we did before the start of Friday’s action: the theme of the upcoming Power of Veto Competition. Over the past several hours, the Big Brother P.A. System has announced a series of “facts” that are obviously designed to test the houseguests’ memory, and the likely winner here is going to be someone who really decides to stop and pay attention to just about everything that is going on around them in the house.
Here’s an example of one of the “facts” that has been shouted out in the house:
“Most people don’t know that the world’s biggest weather vane is in Spain.”
It’s going to be a little bit different that there is a Veto challenge that is more focused on something like memory and answering questions, mostly because this is the sort of thing that we typically only see in the event that it is for a Head of Household. The structure of the challenge itself seems to favor Ian, mostly because he has proven to have a pretty photographic memory of things and is good answering questions. If he does win, this may guarantee that Jenn is sent out the door before the final two … that is, unless Dan convinces Danielle to pull a rabbit out of her hat and get rid of Shane instead. The one risk that Dan and Danielle run into in doing this is angering both Shane and Ian as potential jury members, and since they would probably blame Dan for it, he could be penalized at the end of the day.
