The wait is going to be a long one until the “Pretty Little Liars” Halloween special airs on October 23, but that doesn’t mean that we have to spend the entire time in agony and uninformed, right? With that in mind, we now have some brand-new details worth sharing from this episode courtesy of executive producer Oliver Goldstick.
Speaking as a part of a new interview with Wetpaint, Goldstick chose to describe this supposedly-spooky episode (one that features a cameo appearance from none other than Adam Lambert) by saying the followin:
“Well, the idea is all the PLL’s are on the train as well as some other unexpected guests. And I’ll just say it’s not a ride that goes without event, and it has to almost come to a crashing halt because of the events on the train. And there’s some incredible revelations. I don’t want to give too much away. But aside from the fact that we have this wonderful metaphor of these great costumes, we have these incredible unmasking moments, and I think that’s part of the joyride here. People can’t jump off so easily. They’re kind of trapped.”
Over the past few days, we have also found out a few other details about this episode that are rather surprisingly. While this hour will have in some ways a standalone story, there is still going to be an agonizing cliffhanger that keeps you waiting anxiously until the second part of the season returns in January; in addition to that, some of the costumes that we are going to see involve iconic movie stars. For example, Hanna (Ashley Benson) is going to take a page from NBC’s “Smash” and dress up like Marilyn Monroe.
What is it that makes you the most excited about this upcoming episode? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! If you want to see more costumes in the brand-new Halloween promo for the show, you can do so by heading over to the link here.
