We do have a new Head of Household in the “Big Brother 14” house, and with that comes a new plan. But is it the right plan? That’s all going to be based on just who you are a big fan of in this game. (Warning: the following contains spoilers.)
As you probably saw last night here on the site, Ian ended up being named Head of Household for the third time in the past five competitions, and with that in mind he had a big decision as to who would be his pawn inside of the game. For him, the target is really quite simple based on his loyalty to the Quack Pack alliance: Jenn. However, does everyone else (namely Dan) see is this way? Not so much. He is well aware that there is a time when Shane needs to go from this game, and if he and Jenn are nominated, Dan and Danielle are the only people who will vote and control what happens. Danielle has already claimed that she is willing to evict Shane if she has to, and it may be time to put her money where her mouth is.
The reason for Dan pushing these nominations is rather simple: if he has it his way, he would much rather not have Shane hovering around in a final three. He knows that this is someone that would never take him to the end over Danielle, and he would much rather have someone who has only won one challenge this entire time (and that was thanks to Frank getting disqualified). Ian seems to be biting on the plan for now, but if he sticks with this, he’s probably going to feel rather silly in a week’s time if Ian ends up being the one to get evicted from this game. If he does not win the Power of Veto then, after all, it’s pretty likely to happen.
One thing we do feel pretty good about at the moment? Dan’s odds of winning this game after running in circles around all of these houseguests.
