After an eventful double-eviction on “Big Brother 14” that seemed to play perfectly into Dan Gheesling’s hands, there was really one question that was very much worth asking: did it stay this way for another week?
Really, Dan was in a pretty unique situation in that it seems like he is destined for the final four regardless of what happens next. Ian and Jenn seem to be the primary targets for Shane, while Ian would likely put up Shane and Jenn. No matter which way you turn, there really is not a scenario where he goes home unless someone changes their mind and decides to make a big move. Even Danielle and Ian were not upset about being used as pawns, knowing that Dan was tying to just hide their alliances and ensure that Joe was sent packing from the game. (Okay, he may have actually considered briefly sending Ian home had he not won the Power of Veto.)
At the end of the day, it looks like the resident genius is going to be back in power again. Ian won Head of Household for the third time in five attempts, and based on what we are guessing at the moment, Jenn is going to be the likely target in order to ensure that the Quack Pack all makes it to the final four. Dan is safe likely thanks to his secret final two “Renegades” deal with him, so we see the likely nominees being both Jenn along with Shane, who has not been on the block for a while. The only other possibility is that he puts Danielle on the block knowing that she will not go home.
What do you think about the result of this challenge, and about Ian’s sudden domination when it comes to challenges in this game? If you want to check out our full “Big Brother 14” review, be sure to head over to the link here.
