The final season of “30 Rock” is currently gearing up for its big return to television on October 4, and with that, we have a pair of big stories to share when it comes to either the show itself or one of its stars.
Ryan Lochte – First things first, we must point out that the Olympic swimmer is going to be making a cameo in an upcoming episode, presumably as himself. NBC confirmed the news on Thursday, though they declined to offer up any further details.
This is the second time that Lochte has agreed to make a cameo appearance on a TV show in the past several months, as he also recently stopped by “90210” to film a separate cameo to air at some point moving forward.
Tina Fey -Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Fey is going to guest-star on an upcoming episode of the landmark Fox show “The Simpsons,” where she will play the part of a rather ruthless substitute teacher who does not treat Lisa particularly well at all. As a matter of fact, here is what executive producer Al Jean had to say on this very subject:
“She gives Lisa a ‘B’ and Ralph an ‘A’ even though Ralph signed his paper ‘Ralpa.’ And Lisa has a reading kangaroo with a bunch of little joeys in it for the books that she reads, and [she] takes the joeys out and puts them in other kangaroos. Hardcore stuff.”
It takes a long span of time for “Simpsons” episodes to air following production, and hers in particular will come on at some point in the spring.
