All the stories and the writings are top notch and the actors put in incredible efforts to make me care about their characters. Unlike some of the terrible reality shows on TV nowadays, Code Black has great stories to tell and wonderful messages to say to the viewers. It is indeed very sad to realize that this is the very last episode but as you have so perfectly stated, what a way to end the show at such a high note!
