Hopefully the next season of Absentia will be as fast moving as the first. Recent 10 episode shows on streaming video have been heavily padded with long shots of roads, water, open fields and people staring blankly into the distance. Maybe it's the TV work ethic the cast and crew bring to Absentia, but I've appreciated the tightness of the action in Absentia while watch some of the newer shows that could easily have been cut to 6 or 8 from their current 10. Amazon seems to avoid these pitfalls better than their competition.
