As we now know, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Zachary Quinto may not be the only people from “American Horror Story” season 1 who are making a return to the show this season. In a new post on his Twitter account, executive producer Ryan Murphy announced that Frances Conroy is also going to be back, and her role may be one of the few sources of good in the middle of a lot of evil at the insane asylum that serves as the setting for this “Asylum” series:
“Thrilled to announce Emmy nominee Frances Conroy is returning to AHS. Devils and angels this year…Frannie plays the ultimate angel.”
In addition to this incredibly exciting bit of casting news, we also have another new teaser from FX to share. This one starts off with a woman who seems to be pretty innocent sitting in bed, only for it to be later revealed that she is actually strapped into the bad inside of a padding cell. This may very well have been the creepiest teaser for the show that we have seen yet, and what we really loved about it above all else was that it incorporated more of the actual asylum into the mix. There have been some teasers where it has really been rather questionable just what is going on or what it means … but not with this one! (You can check it out at the bottom of this article.)
