Michaele Salahi — who was the most popular member of the short-lived series from 2010 — has been visiting the Northern Virginia Center for Surrogate Parenting recently in order to get the process started of having a child via this process. In speaking out the decision, Salahi says that one of the real reasons for this form of pregnancy is that she suffers from multiple sclerosis — that and her age (45) makes it a bit difficult to safely have a child.
Michaele does seem more than joyful at the thought of expanding her clan:
“I’m overjoyed with the hope of starting a family and the blessing of love and peace a child will bring to our lives.”
