‘The X Factor’ USA: Demi Lovato says working with Britney Spears a ‘dream’

With the premiere of “The X Factor” season 2 now officially just one week away, some of the publicity is really start to amp up for the gig, including a series of TV interviews for one of the new judges in Demi Lovato.

On Wednesday morning, this meant that the “Give Your Heart a Break” singer, who is currently celebrating her first week ever at #1 with the song, paid a visit to “The Today Show” to answer all sorts of questions. In a move that was rather unsurprising given that NBC is sticking “The Voice” Wednesday up against “The X Factor” as competition, it’s hardly a shock that the questions fired Demi’s direction were hardly softballs. She did not give in when asked if the firings of Nicole Scherzinger or Paula Abdul impacted her judging style, and she also said that she was “honored” to work with two people who have been industry icons to the extent of L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. As for Britney Spears, Demi called the experience a “dream come true” given that she first attended a Spears concert when she was a child, and i actually was the first concert period that she attended.

Already, the buzz is great surrounding Demi as a judge, as those who have seen the first episode are saying that she brings a new sense of excitement and energy to the show that wasn’t quite there this year. Plus, she brings a new sort of fun foil to Simon that wasn’t quite there with Nicole and Paula, who felt at times too concerned with being nice and noncommittal to the point where they didn’t want to make any decisions.

Do you really think that Demi has the potential to be a great judge this year? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! To check out some more scoop pertaining to Justin Bieber and Marc Anthony, be sure to follow the link here.
