We already know that a past star from “The Big Bang Theory” is going to be stopping by “Suits” for an important season 2 role, and now it looks like we will also get a heavy dose of the “Pretty Little Liars” universe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amanda Schull, who played the part of Meredith for four episodes of the ABC Family drama has been cast here on the hit USA series to play the part of Katrina Bennett, a difficult young assistant district attorney who Harvey clashes with on more than one occasion during the winter portion of the show’s season. Specifically, one of her biggest strengths as a character comes courtesy of her uncanny ability to take advantages of the weaknesses of others … which really makes her the perfect person to add a little bit of intrigue to this world.
In addition to her aforementioned role, Schull has appeared in such shows as “Grimm,” “Psych,” and “Castle,” and she also has a guest gig lined up for the new CBS drama “Vegas” airing starting Tuesday, September 25. (If you are not catching the trend here, she really likes shows with one-word titles.) The “Suits” role is an especially meaty one, and it comes after the series remained a ratings machine for the network throughout most of its summer run, culminating in some great numbers in the advertiser-friendly 18-49 demographic. There is no announced return date for the show just yet, but the general consensus is that we will see more of Mike, Harvey, and the rest of the firm beginning in January 2013.
