Season 2 of “Once Upon a Time” is creating quite a stir without it even premiering yet, and when it comes to some of the show’s stars, it is also causing a great deal of paranoia. After all, we are looking at one of the most tightly-guarded series on TV, as the major twist of magic entering Storybrooke at the end of last season is such a game-changer that one detail coming out could single-handedly ruin the fun for everyone.
With that in mind, we present a rather blunt tweet from Jennifer Morrison as to why she has not been online so much lately:
“So hard to figure out what to tweet when I have to keep so many ONCE secrets ….”
When it comes to what Morrison can talk about, she had some rather cool comments to FanBolt recently about the origin story for her character of Emma Swan, and why producers were so careful to choose the name that they did:
“I think [show creators] Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz knew what they were doing when they named her Emma Swan. They told me they thought it was a cool name and they were moved by the idea of The Ugly Duckling story, so it appeared to fit. Emma has had a really rough upbringing because she was abandoned as a child, yet she blossoms into this beautiful swan that is destined to hopefully save everyone from an evil curse.”
We know for sure that season 2 is going to start up with a reunion of sorts for Emma; she is going to have to handle having a mother in Snow White who is in some ways the same age as her, and also the fact that there is something fantastic in magic existing in the real world.
