The latest bit of “Dexter” casting news has arrived; but unfortunately there is not too much that we have to share about this one other than a name.
According to a new report from SpoilerTV, actor Mike Foy, whose TV credits include guest spots on “Desperate Housewives,” “Justified,” and “The Shield,” is going to be appearing in the tenth episode of the season as a man by the name of Joseph Jansen. This is about as much about this character as we know for the time being, though show site Dexter Daily is reporting that the name of this episode is going to be “Because I Want To.”
So who will Foy play? It’s a worthy question for debate, but at the moment evidence is so sparse that it is difficult to even make much of a coherent argument one way or the other. We could see Foy based on his headshot as a tough guy who Dexter comes into contact with, but he could work well as a member of Miami Metro.
Really, the best news that we can share about “Dexter” at the moment is merely that the new season is almost here. We are now less than four weeks away from the season 7 premiere on September 30, and as we inch ever closer to that date we are hopefully going to have more in the way of scoop to share from the likes of Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, and the rest of the cast and crew.
