Nolan is the tricky sort on “Revenge,” and he’s always one to make sure he gets the upper hand … even to the extent that he is willing to spy on you using hidden cameras. The “whale cam,” despite its rather interesting intentions, became a bit of a fun Easter egg in what is otherwise a pretty serious show, and while it is not going to be back for the ABC series’ second season, the good news is that it already appears as though the show has put together a worthy substitute.
Speaking in an rather fun little piece in TV Guide, actor Gabriel Mann unveiled that in the place of the “whale cam” this season, there will be one hidden inside of a clam:
“The tides change quickly in the Hamptons each summer and Shamu has had more action than a college freshman on Spring Break … Fitting, then, that a clam cam washed up at my front door just in time for the return of the perverse party season on Long Island. Stay tuned. Clam cam is watching you.”
Just what is this creature of the deep going to capture this season? It’s had to say for sure, but Mann has already suggested that we are going to see a much darker side of his character this season as he starts to wrestle more and more with what happened to him in the final episodes of season 1. After all, wouldn’t getting tied up have a certain long-lasting impact on you?
