On Monday night’s new episode of “Bachelor Pad,” we really saw quite a bit of action, humiliation, horrendous singing, and also a pair of eliminations.
So who were the contestants who were sent home from the competition just before getting an opportunity to win the grand prize? Let’s a take a look at what happened to cause these pairs to go home.
4th place – Blakeley Jones and Tony Pieper. This elimination after the show’s first challenge was sad for a number of reasons. First, it gave Chris Bukowski the opportunity for him to say that he got the woman that he has hated for most of the season out — and in addition to that, we also ended up losing a pair that seemed to actually be developing some genuine feelings for each other. We do know that Blakeley and Tony are doing rather well for themselves in real life, and this may help them to make up for any sadness that they have from being eliminated.
3rd place – Jaclyn Swartz and Ed Swiderski. This was something that these two certainly didn’t see coming — and as a matter of fact, they were in tears the moment that they realized that Nick Petersen and Rachel Truehart were going to the end with someone other than them. We’re sure that they are going to be angry about it, but taking Chris Bukowski and Sarah Newlon to the end seems to be more about strategy than trying to hurt anyone’s feelings.
So who is going to end up winning this season? If we had to guess, we would say that Nick and Rachel are the undisputed favorites here based on one thing — Chris and Sarah have burned so many bridges that they are stuck on an island. Even if they are the winners, though, there is still one other question worth asking — will they split the money evenly as all partners should?
