Over the course of the past several weeks, we have heard all sorts of rumors when it comes to “The X Factor’s” hosting search — with everyone from Mario Lopez to Khloe Kadashian to even a number of “Glee” stars being mentioned as possibilities.
Now, we are getting to the point where the questions are finally going to be answered. According to new reports, everything is going to thankfully be revealed soon. On September 11 (exactly one week from tomorrow), the show is going to host a massive premiere party in Hollywood, where Simon Cowell and all of the show’s judges are going to be in attendance. The hosts are also going to be present in some shape or form, and we will finally hear not only who they are, but what they hope to bring to the show this year.
This time around, we know that there are going to be two hosts — likely one man and one woman — as a replacement for Steve Jones from last season. Jones was actually supposed to have a co-host last year in Nicole Scherzinger, but she quickly shifted over into the role as judge after the sudden exit of Cheryl Cole as a judge (which we still think was a pretty poor choice given how much she could have become attached to the franchise over the years — and we would have loved to see her alongside either Britney Spears or Demi Lovato).
The season premiere of “The X Factor” is just over a week away on Wednesday, September 12 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Who do you want to see as the co-hosts here? If you want to check out some more of the latest co-hosting rumors, be sure to head on over to this link.
