The Power of Veto Ceremony is now over in the “Big Brother 14” house, and it’s now been made official as to who are the two people who will be sitting in the chairs come Thursday night when Julie Chen starts up the live show.
(Warning: the following contains potential spoilers from the live feed.)
At the end of the day, Dan did exactly what he promised to do — Jenn is now safe from eviction on Thursday night, and Dan has repaid his favor to her after she used the Veto on him last week. With that in mind, Head of Household Ian decided to put Joe up on the block as a replacement nominee.
Joe has already started to stir up all sorts of trouble in the past 24 hours, and in some ways it feels as though he is managing to sink his own game. Last night, he decided to leak some information to Shane about Dan’s acting shady … with the problem here being that he was actually talking to Dan and he mistook him in a dark room. Then, he proceeded to bash Dan after the Veto Ceremony Monday, telling Danielle that he will do anything and everything to stay alive and he “hides behind the Bible” in order to do whatever he wants. Joe is angry that the Veto was used, and he is on the block as a result.
In the end, though, it still seems like Joe’s drama is only making him more likely to stay in this game a while longer. Danielle knows that she really controls the vote here, and she told Joe that he staying put regardless of what she has told Frank. Really, it looks like this will be somewhat close to a unanimous vote, with everyone other than Jenn casting a vote to send him home. Preesh? We’re sure that Frank doesn’t.
