“Snow White and the Huntsman” made quite a splash at Comic-Con last month for its dark and unique take on the popular fairy tale — and there is now even more casting news to share about the project.
Universal has announced that for the characters of Snow White’s parents, little-known actress Liberty Ross and the appropriately-named Noah Huntley (“28 Days Later”) have been cast. The film has already has a prestigious cast that includes Chris Hemsworth (“Thor”) as the title Huntsman to go along with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.
While Stewart has certainly had a rather extensive career away from “The Twilight Saga,” this film marks one of her rare opportunities to tackle another popular franchise with a build-in audience.
