Over the course of the past several weeks, we have given Dan a great deal of credit in this “Big Brother 14” game for making some incredibly bold moves to save himself and make sure that there are some bigger targets around that give him the ability to inch a little bit further along in this game.
However, is the guy starting to overplay his hand? This is what we are really starting to wonder after he and Danielle reaffirmed their final three deals with both Shane and Jenn earlier in the night. It’s understandable that he would like to cover himself from every base possible, but he is also acting from an assumption that these two are never going to spend any time talking game at all.
The good news for Dan is that he does at least have himself in a pretty good position for next week’s game. Not only can he play for Head of Household, but the only person that could be gunning for him is Joe — and he is trying to convince him to take out Jenn instead. If that happens, then he is a part of a final five and that is a Head of Household Competition that you really want to win. Dan’s biggest problem — regardless of if he gets found out or not — is that he will likely need to win his way into the final two given that very few people are going to want to face him in the end. The only person who would likely square off with him in Frank is going to be out the door Thursday pending a huge game-changer.
