Sadly, we’re stuck right in the middle of a tragically quiet Sunday in the “Big Brother” house — and with that, we are having to resort to all sorts of random references to a certain cult classic.
(Warning: the following contains potential spoilers.)
The vast majority of the houseguests have made the decision to pretty much sleep all day long, and with that in mind, we are being subjected instead to Dan quoting just about every single one of his favorite movies. When you remember trademarks and all that, this also means that the feeds are getting interrupted constantly with fish pretty much every step of the way. When Dan realized that this was starting to tick off production, he proceeded to change one word in all of the quotes to make things different. (“Dallas, we have a problem.”)
Following all of this, Dan decided to announce that they were going to have a Ralph Macchio night where they would quote all of his favorite movies, and dress up as some of the man’s iconic characters over the years. (Somehow, we have a feeling that this could somehow lead to Ralph Mcchio coming into the house later on this season.)
Maybe Dan’s feeling extra like the karate kid right now based on how much power he has. As the owner of the Power of Veto, he knows that he is going to look good in Jenn’s eyes by saving him. Then, he can justify to her after the fact that he couldn’t get all of the votes (see: Danielle) to save Frank, which is why he is sent off to the jury house.
Alas, this is all from a slow Sunday — but we’ll have more following the episode. We also have more on the plan to potentially blindside Frank over at this link.
