It’s been a while since we have seen “Switched at Birth” on the air, but on Monday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time (a day before “Pretty Little Liars” was airing), the ABC Family series is back to finish up the rest of its first-season run.
There are of course a number of major questions at the moment when it comes to the series — including the status of Emmett and Bay’s relationship and what’s coming up for Daphne at the restaurant — but for the standpoint of production, one of the most interesting questions is what is going to happen to Gilles Marini’s character of Angelo. If you recall, the actor (who was first made famous in the “Sex and the City” movie) is a part of the All-Stars edition of “Dancing with the Stars” premiering on September 24, and the rehearsal schedules for this show often make it rather hard to do anything else at all.
So how much of him are we really going to see? Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Lizzy Weiss had the following to say:
“Angelo is the fourth piece of the parent puzzle … Whether he’s around or somewhere else, he’s always going to be part of the story. You never can forget your dad, no matter how angry you are at him or how much of a mystery he is.”
The best translation we can offer here is that Angelo’s story is very much not done on the show — even if you may not see too much of him this time around. Considering that there still is plenty more story to tell, this is truly a case that anything can happen.
What do you want to see happen on the rest of “Switched at Birth” this coming season? We want to hear from you below! If you want to look at our “Dancing with the Stars” spotlight article for Gilles, be sure and head on over to this link.
