It looks like love could once again be in the air on the fourth season of “Glee” — and this time, it looks like it will involve some of the new additions to McKinley High.
One of the most notable inclusions to the show this season is Jake Puckerman, a young man whose relationship to Mark Salling’s Puck is largely through last name and sharing the same father only. The two are not extremely close, even though they do each carry with them a jaded sort of demeanor that lands them in trouble more often than not. Apparently, they also each carry with them a habit for getting close to some of the ladies. Speaking to TVLine, actor Jacob Artist teased one of his upcoming storylines by talking about a pair of female characters played by Melissa Benoist and Becca Tobin:
“Drama-wise, there’s gonna be a lot of ups and downs with the two new girls — Marley and Kitty. There’ll be a lot of things unfolding in and amongst the three of them for sure.”

If a full-on love triangle does in fact materialize here, one of the things that will be especially interesting to watch is how Jake is perceived by some of the other students at McKinley along with viewers. There have been a number of love triangles recently in pop culture involving two men and one woman choosing (“Hart of Dixie,” “Awkward,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “True Blood”), but rarely have we seen one involving two women and one man that is not met without someone referring to the man as a horrible person or a hound dog.
