Want more Gordon Ramsay? Well, be prepared to smile — the man is going to continue crafting his empire on Fox for another season of “Hotel Hell.” This means that for the next year, the famed chef is going to continue to have four shows in “Kitchen Nightmares,” “Hotel Hell,” “MasterChef,” and “Hell’s Kitchen” — in addition to some of the work that he does on shows overseas. At this point, we are starting to be convinced that Ramsay is secretly cloning himself with the help of James the “Hell’s Kitchen” maitre’d, and that he could make a show about painting his house and it would be renewed so long as he swore enough.
In a statement, here is what the network’s reality head Mike Darnell had to say:
“With Hotel Hell, Gordon has proved once again that he’s one of the most successful and appealing personalities on television … He delivered an amazing new show for us this summer that fans immediately embraced, and I can’t wait for him to get started on an even more exciting season two.”
Ramsay’s series here chronicles his attempts to get struggling hotels off of the ground, and he does so by looking at everything from the wait staff to some of the dynamics going on with the ownership. It’s an entertaining show, but we had our concerns going in — name in that Ramsay is not exactly known for the world of hotels so much as he is managing and improving restaurants to be the best that they can be.
What do you think about this renewal? Be sure and share your thoughts below! The finale for “Hotel Hell” is slated to air this week, so be sure to check that out Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
