Mrs. Carter: What’s going on now?
On Monday night’s episode of “Bachelor Pad,” we bid farewell to one of the most-successful couples of the entire season (at least romantically), as Kalon McMahon and Lindzi Cox were each eliminated by the other contestants after a spelling bee-themed challenge.
We know that they were one of the most surprising couples of the entire season when they got together … but are they still dating? Speaking in a conference call with reporters on Thursday, Kalon didn’t say — however, he was more than complimentary (per Reality TV World) when it came to some general thoughts about the person that the former Ben Flajnik suitor was and how much chemistry they had together:
“If Lindzi was that girl that I would’ve just ran into in real life at a bar or at a friend’s house or whatever I might be, that we would absolutely be kind of drawn to each other, strike up a conversation and something would probably organically form. … Being with Lindzi was literally just effortless. We kind of started hanging out and talking, and before we knew it, we looked around and realized, ‘Wow, we’re kind of a couple. This is awesome,’ and I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
There is one obvious problem when it comes to these two being a permanent item in the months to come — location. While Kalon resides in the Houston area, Lindzi lives all the way in Washington. These two places are not exactly close, and this has been the problem that has doomed many a “Bachelor” and “Bachelor Pad” relationship in the past. With that being said, these two were at least enjoyable to watch this season — and while Kalon hasn’t completely gotten the bad taste of “The Bachelorette” out of our mouths yet, he at least took some steps in the right direction.
