We are now mere hours away from the latest eviction in the “Big Brother 14” house, and we are at least finally starting to give Britney some credit — only a matter of minutes after she made a pretty impassioned plea in order to save herself to Joe, she is now really turning her attention to the one person who really holds her fate at the moment — and ironically, it’s the person that is the sole reason she is on the block to begin with.
Britney put everything into her plea to Dan Thursday afternoon, and even brought Ian in for some backup when it came to her primary argument — that Danielle is not as much of a passive player in this game that Dan may think she is. One of their primary arguments was how close Danielle was to Shane, and how strong that she is when it comes to some of the challenges. (The next Head of Household challenge looks to be endurance, and she won the last one of this variety.) In addition, Britney claims that she is a great deal more motivated to go after Frank than Danielle, mostly because he hasn’t done anything to her in this game at all. (Frank could buy everyone a new car at this point and they would all still want him out next week.) Ian mostly pushed the same argument that he has been trying to for the past three days — Frank wants Britney gone, and why should the house give Frank what he wants?
Ultimately, we still have a hard time fully believing that Dan would want to turn on Danielle, mostly because even in spite of his funeral speech that he admits was a little ill-advised at this point, she is still the best ally that he has in this game unless he wants to team up with Frank. Shane and Ian are going to team up with Britney, and with Jenn and Frank on the other side, the only other potential ally he has left is Joe (who is still telling everyone what they want to hear).
