Once again, “American Horror Story: Asylum” has released a new teaser that doesn’t really give us any indication as to what the show is going to be about (though we have this article now for that) — though with this being said, it is still pretty entertaining to watch.
This clip is pretty simple, at least when it comes to what we think it is showing us — somebody sticking a fork straight into human skin. It’s more shock-and-awe than it really is terrifying, but it does do a pretty good job reminding us that the people in this insane asylum are possibly capable of anything — including cannibalism. This may sound strange and quite possibly demented, but we are actually rooting for this very thing after watching this. Why? We do not want to be teased with things in videos that really don’t have any bearing at all on the actual show. Otherwise, we are really just wasting our time with something that is a red herring more than a nice nugget for speculation.
This new season is set to officially launch on FX on Wednesday, October 17, and this gives us just enough time to get in the Halloween mood before the show arrives. This is also a pretty interesting move for the show to make in that they are making certain that they have an episode of the series ready to air on October 31 itself — which makes some sense, given that the people who are going to be watching this show will likely not be busy collecting candy on the streets.
What do you think this new teaser means? We want to hear some of your thoughts below! If you want to find out some more news pertaining to Adam Levine’s character on the show, be sure and head on over to the link here.
