‘Jersey Shore’ season 6: Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie and more react to cancellation

Earlier this afternoon, we published the news that after six seasons and some staggering ratings for MTV, “Jersey Shore” is coming to an end and the cast members are all going to move on to the next phase of their lives. With this in mind, it should not come as much of a surprise that most of the cast members are speaking out and reflecting back about their time on the hit show.

The following messages all come from the respective Twitter accounts.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi – “Yes, sadly it’s true. This upcoming season of Jersey Shore will be our last. But it was fricken INSANE. I will always love my roomies!”

DJ Pauly D – “All Good Things Must Come To An End, But #TeamDJPaulyD Lives On And It’s Just Getting Started !!! Tweet I AM #TeamDJPaulyD If You With Me”

Deena Cortese – “It really just hit me now this summer was the last time I’ll be filming with my roomies we all share something incredible thnx to you guys”

Ronnie Magro – “I can always go work for Danny at the Shore Store! LOL”

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola – “It’s been one hell of a ride but this is just the beginning! Thank you all for your love & support throughout the seasons!! These memories will never be forgotten!!”

Vinny Guadagnino – “Aright, so I guess I’ll run for president now #Vinny2012

The only current cast members to not address the show’s end as of this writing are Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino — who is filming “Celebrity Big Brother” in the United Kingdom at the moment and is probably too busy to comment. The good news for many of these cast members is that they have already established other means to make money via appearances and product lines — the bad news? They are not going to have the same platform to promote them anymore.
