We are finally finding out some more substantial information concerning season 4 of “Glee” — and based on what we are hearing now about one of the new characters spending some time at McKinley High, Heather Morris’ Brittany S. Pierce is going to have an actual rival for really the first time ever on this show.
In the video below, you can hear new cast member Becca Tobin speak out about her role as Kitty — a young woman who is going to not only be a part of the Cheerios this year, but she is also going to be fighting Brittany for one of the captain positions. We don’t know whether or not she will resort to dirty tactics in order to make it happen, but there are two things that you have to remember here:
1. Anyone who studies under Sue Sylvester is capable of dirty tactics.
2. This is the world of high school cheerleading.
In addition to meeting Kitty, the video also shares a little bit more information when it comes to Melissa Benoist and Jacob Artist’s new characters in Marley and Jake — or “Jarley,” if you will. The only concern we have with these two at the moment is that they seem to be relatively similar to Rachel and Puck, who have a pretty interesting history of their own. We do also see some constant reminders that life at McKinley High has not changed that much courtesy of Darren Criss and Kevin McHale — two people who are now going to be responsible for running the ship in many ways.
Do you think that Brittany will be able to keep her head cheerleader position, or are you worried at all about how she is going to fare now that Santana will be in another state, and she will feel very much alone?
