In the world of “Teen Mom,” not all drama ends up happening during the actual episodes — for more evidence of that, all you have to do is check out the latest incident that has transpired between series star Farrah Abraham and the father of Amber Portwood’s daughter in Gary Shirley.
After watching a scene in which Gary used a derogatory term about Amber (who has been struggling with addiction all season and is in and out of rehab), Abraham posted the following series of messages on her Twitter account:
“What a pig! You’re horrible; go get mental help for Amber’s sake P.O.S. … To be honest, Gary is so negative and I don’t see how he is better to raise Leah then Amber. Get the point Gary! Learn to focus on Leah.”
As expected, Gary’s initial response back was not exactly a pleasant one given what was just said about it — and he also chose to call Farrah out on a recent (and rather unintelligible) song she released to promote her memoir:
“@F1abraham go make another hit single or treat your parents like sh–. Always stuck up for you — not anymore.”
Gary eventually apologized for the comment by saying that he was acting out of emotion, but at that point he did already have Farrah’s loyal fans coming after him. Abraham has yet to respond to his apology, and, despite the fame that she has found as a result of this show, claims that she is happy that her version of the “Teen Mom” franchise is over after four seasons on the air.
What do you think about this Twitter fight, and do you think that it is totally unnecessary given that the show is over and so much has happened with Gary and Amber since filming? If you want to take a look back at the past four seasons, be sure to check out our story over here.
