If you have been following the “Big Brother 14” live feeds for the past 24 hours, then you already know that there was a major shake-up in the game in order to save someone on the block, and also backdoor someone who didn’t see it coming at all. So did everything go down as according to plan?
(Warning: the following contains spoilers.)
When the dust settled, Jenn held true to the plan established by Frank and Dan and played the Veto after Ian made the decision not to play his own power that he won with Pandora’s Box. Had Ian known about the move beforehand to backdoor Britney, he probably would have played the necklace and caused some sort of shake-up when it came to replacement nominees — but he didn’t have that chance.
The justification for Frank making this move was twofold really:
1. He now has an alliance with Jenn, Dan, and Danielle that may be good for another week or two.
2. Although he keeps Ian in the game, he still punishes him for his betrayal by nominating the one person in this game that he was the closest to.
Britney is clearly upset about what has happened to her, as she is in tears over it while Danielle pretends to act shocked about what happened. Meanwhile, Frank is spending his time laughing at Ian over getting too cocky in this game and thinking that he can hoodwink everyone in the house.

By the way, congratulations are in order for “Big Brother” rising up to a 2.5 ratings in the 18-49 demographic Sunday — one of its best draws of the season.
