‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Darren Criss’ Robin costume ‘explained’

Earlier this month, there was plenty of room for a major “Glee” debate when showrunner Ryan Murphy posted the photo to the left of Darren Criss’ Blaine dressed up like Robin on the halls of McKinley High. It was definitely an unusual fashion choice, especially since it is far too early for Halloween and the character’s never been the kind to take off to Comic-Con.

However, the latter part of that sentence may be changing. Why? According to E! News, the actual explanation for Blaine’s superhero get-up here is really much simpler than you would think — as a way to try and handle Kurt being away in New York City, he is going to try and join as many clubs as possible in order to occupy his time. We’re guessing that one of these clubs has something to do with superheroes, and we are now extremely envious and wondering where this club was back when we were in high school.

There have been concerns from fans for weeks now that Kurt and Blaine are not going to make it all the way through this season, and the comments from both Criss and Chris Colfer seem to add some credence to the rumors about a break-up happening. However, we would still be stunned if these two are not part of each other’s lives in some way, and it would be heartbreaking to not see them get together at the end of the day to ride off into the sunset.

If you were Blaine, would you be doing the same exact thing in order to get your mind off of Kurt being across the county living a life that is far more interesting than high school? If you want to check out some more scoop pertaining to Naya Rivera, be sure and hit up the link here.
