It has been yet another busy day in the “Big Brother 14” house, but we now have the news that just about everyone is waiting for — the nominations along with the results of Pandora’s Box.
(Warning: the following contains spoilers straight from the live feed.)
All day long, new Head of Household Frank has been promising to put up two people in Dan and Danielle who he feels are the greatest threat possible to his game, but there was a last-minute curveball that entered the game — and it was Ian. As a part of Pandora’s Box, Frank somehow freed the other people in the house to try and pick up a prize below that could somehow impact nominations. Ian ended up winning what was effectively a Power of Veto for the week, but there will still be another Veto that will be coming up courtesy of the competition. We know that before nominations, Frank did not want Ian to use it so he could keep Britney off the block for the time being.
So what ended up happening? As expected, Dan and Danielle ended up getting put on the block with the season 10 champ currently set as the target for Frank to send home. Dan is promising to try and win the Veto, and if that happens there could be an interesting situation that comes up. If both Ian and the PoV winner use them, we could see a situation where the Quack Pack theoretically could save the top four members of the alliance and send Ian home instead. However, this is pretty unlikely given how many scenarios can play out — including Ian not playing his new Veto at all.
