There’s really no debate at all that Thursday night provided some of the craziest “Big Brother 14” action of the season. Ian made some big moves to both get Boogie out and try and force Frank out of the house, and we also saw a few shouting matches that case as a result of the betrayal. Ashley is now sitting in the jury house as its first member, and the show ended with a tease about one of the biggest Head of Household challenges yet.
So what happened? Before we reveal the winner, let’s first talk about the premise. Remember the game that the houseguests had a chance to demo last night involving popping a ball on a pulley into one of a few holes on a board? Well, a modified version of this was the actual challenge itself. It was a good one in that physical strength really didn’t matter at all, and it all came down to just how much focus someone had in order to win the game and claim the ability to make some big moves in the house.
Before the challenge, it was clear that Frank absolutely had to win it. Just about everyone left wants him to be gone from the game, and even his supposed “alliances” from Ian, Britney, and Shane really just came off as lies to protect themselves in the event that Frank does get power. If that happens, it’s more likely that he will go after the likes of Dan and Danielle instead (despite their two combined challenge wins versus the million that Shane has) … at least this was their thinking.
At the end of the day, this is going to be an interesting week. Frank did win Head of Household, and he is going to be out for blood. Serious blood. Everyone wants him out, and now he has to spend the next few days deciding just who he wants to remove from the game.
