Adam Lambert performs on Australia’s ‘Sunrise on 7’

We are a little late when it comes to our second “American Idol” notes of the day — but instead of sharing some smaller stories pertaining to a few artists, we’re putting the spotlight solely on Adam Lambert’s performance in Australia.

While Down Under this week, the season 8 star took to the popular morning show “Sunrise” in order to perform a pretty electric set. He actually started things off with a hit from his first album “For Your Entertainment” in “Whataya Want From Me,” and after a brief chat with the show’s hosts he ended up busting out another performance of “Trespassing,” the title track of the new album.

“Sunrise” is the most-popular morning show in Australia, and it has become known for the go-to destination for some of America’s top artists to come and promote their music. They have had their fair share of controversy when it comes to asking some tough questions of their guests, but Adam was mostly spared of any trouble as the music really spoke for itself — and as always, it was fantastic (and also highlighted by the studio’s intimate setting).

In addition to giving another performance in Sydney this week, Adam is also going to be stopping by Melbourne in order to give another performance before wrapping up his time in the country. This has been a busy August for the singer thus far, as he has also stopped in Japan for another publicity tour for his album.

What do you think about this performance, and is this one of your favorites from the “Trespassing” promotional tour so far? We want to hear some of your thoughts below!┬áTo check out some otther “American Idol” news pertaining to Nicki Minaj and Nick Jonas, be sure and read our story over here.
