In order to kick off the night in the “Big Brother 14” house Wednesday, the houseguests got an opportunity to try out a game that looks to be for a Head of Household competition. It looks to be a test of not only skill, but also concentration and focus under pressure.
(Warning: the following contains spoilers.)
The basic premise for this challenge is simple — the houseguests need to navigate a small red ball along along a wooden platform and into one of a series of holes. We have a feeling that in the actual competition, these holes will be scored with the highest point total being the one who wins HoH. It also looks like the competition is going to be timed to ensure that the participants don’t just sit there forever trying to figure it out.
All of the houseguests have an opportunity to test out the game for a few minutes, though Boogie seems to be the least interested in trying (at least according to Britney), probably because he knows he is leaving the game could Thursday night. The only real question left is this — will this be the first HoH challenge during the double-eviction or the second? Ian has a theory that it will be the second, mostly because they let Shane practice for it. Why else would he practicing, since he is not going to be able to take place in the first competition? Even with a time limit, we’re also not sure if this will be fast enough for it to be included in the live broadcast — which thus makes it more likely to be the second.
Based on what we have seen so far, both Danielle and Shane are really pretty good at this — which spells more trouble for the floaters, and makes us wonder if we are in for some more boring weeks soon.
