For those of you who are deeply curious about just who Blake Jenner from “The Glee Project” is going to play on “Glee” season 4, we now have some good news — the character’s name.
In a new post on Twitter, executive producer Ryan Murphy confirmed the news with the following message:
There is a pretty interesting question that comes out of Ryan’s statement about Blake — does this mean that he is going to play someone other than a high school student? We already know that Monteith’s Finn Hudson has graduated from McKinley High, and we can’t seem him staying in Lima for that long considering his plans to join the Army and also the fact that the love of his life in Rachel is in New York — even if the two parties are not exactly together romantically at the moment.
Personally, we could see Blake from one standpoint coming in as the new Finn — a jock who seemingly has it all, including a great singing voice that would be shown off well on the show. However, we also wouldn’t have any problem seeing him as a student at NYADA given that he is clearly old enough to play the part. All indications are, though, that he will play a student, so it will be interesting to see just how that works out.
What sort of character do you want to see Blake play on the show — and does the fact that his character is supposed to be working with Finn clue you in that we may have a similar kind of character here?
