As you may have heard already, “Hawaii Five-0” is doing an episode this coming season that is going to be focusing on McGarrett’s days as a cop back in New Jersey — and we’ve also said that Ving Rhames is going to be appearing as an important man from his past.
Now, we have some news on another addition to this same installment. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, former “Law & Order: Los Angeles” star Terrence Howard is going to also appear in an unknown role that will be mostly focused on the east coast. He’s currently not expected to spend time on the island — and if he does, it will come as a surprise.
This report also makes it clear that this installment is going to be the same one that features the acting debut of Kim Kardashian’s little half-sister Kendall Jenner, whose role for now is also shrouded in mystery. It’s possible that the teen could be someone related to McGarrett’s past, or she could be involved in a case that is going on the island. Kendall has been to Hawaii on many occasions with her family, so it wouldn’t be a shock to see her take off there again.
“Hawaii Five-0” returns for its third season on Monday, September 24 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and it needs to up its game in order to be as competitive as ever. Not only is the show facing off against its constant rival in “Castle,” but there is also an ambitious new show coming out on NBC in “Revolution.”
