Showtime has just released another video pertaining to the upcoming seventh season of “Dexter” — though admittedly, this one is a little bit different than some of the ones that have come before it. Rather than showing us any new footage from the upcoming season premiering on September 30, the premium cable channel is giving us an inside perspective on the show from some people who care about it the most — the fans.
If you look below, you can see exactly what we are talking about. While at Comic-Con in San Diego earlier this summer, the network banded up a group of diehard “Dexter” fans in order to sit around and chat about what they want to see happen in this new season — especially when it comes to the major shocker that Dexter’s secret is hardly a secret anymore when it comes to his sister Deb.
There’s not much new in the way of discussion points in the video, but those of you who love to speculate as much as we do will love the back-and-forth over different theories about how Deb will take it. What we know now is that she is not going to be turning Dexter in (at least for now), and she will even help him to burn the body of Travis Marshall after she watching his stab a knife straight through his heart. As for what happens from there, it is going to be interesting to watch — Deb is going to have to figure out whether or not her desire to protect her brother is enough to keep at bay the cop in her that wants to see him behind bars for what he is doing.
