‘Big Brother 14’ live feed spoilers: Joe has the power

Considering that Joe Arvin has been a dead man walking in the “Big Brother 14” game for about two weeks, it’s now interesting to see the guy in a completely sort of situation — one where he actually has some of the power to end everyone in this game home.

Here’s what started to unfold on Monday night — Joe told Boogie and Frank that he would at least consider trying to keep him around for another week, but he would have to talk to Ashley to see that she is on board. At this point, everyone in the house is well aware of the fact that Britney, Dan, Danielle, and Shane are all working together — and with that, the question is whether or not you want to band together against that now, or hope for some twist down the road. Jenn is hardly the player that Boogie is, and she’s also not likely to win any challenges. Even though Boogie and Frank are clearly a pair, his odds of placing higher than fifth are higher here than they would be over in the other alliance — especially since they have the great challenge warrior known as Shane.

While getting Joe would be a big move on Boogie’s part, there is still an issue that would really keep this from happening — Ian and his secret status within the Quack Pack. They need to have multiple conversations with him over the next few days about reaffirming his bond with them, and it’s only if that happens that Boogie has a chance. They also need to make sure that Ian would have a promise of being a third in an alliance or a final two with somebody, just to sweeten the pot a little bit.

Even if it looks like Boogie’s efforts will probably all be in vain, it’s hard to deny that he and Jenn being on the block has suddenly turned into one of the best weeks of “Big Brother” all season. Everyone is now forced into scrambling. and there still is an outside chance that something crazy could happen. With the double-eviction coming Thursday night, it’s possible that we could be seeing a completely different game within 72 hours than we have now.

Do you think it makes sense for Joe, Ian, and everyone not in the powerful alliance of four to turn on them? If you want to read up some more about Ian may be in trouble with the Quack Pack, be sure and check out our story here.
