‘Bachelor Pad 3’ review: Did a twist ruin Blakeley’s plan?

Early on during Monday night’s new episode of “Bachelor Pad,” it was looking really obvious just what was going to happen — one week after Chris Bukowski was running the show, he was going to get his just desserts and get sent packing following his decision to play almost every woman in the house.

Did this really happen, though? Not exactly — though things were looking pretty good for the leader of the anti-Chris crew in Blakeley when she and her new partner Tony Pieper ended up winning the Team Competition — and thus guaranteed themselves another week in the house. (Yes, there was a romantic date thrown in here — but it was really just a trip to a trailer with a little romance thrown in.)

As a way to help out someone who needed a break from the game, Blakeley and Tony gave Kalon McMahon and Lindzi Cox the opportunity to go on a date together — and strangely, we saw a completely different side to a man that we once referred to as one of the biggest villains in the game. It’s amazing what a positive edit can do for a guy — especially when you pair him with somebody who seems genuinely right for him versus someone he is just trying to get attention for.

What we’re the most interested in finding out about here is the crazy twist that ended up happening for the Rose Ceremony here — which was completely unfair to the people actually playing the game, ¬†even if it did create some crazy drama. Everyone in the house voted on the woman to leave the game, and then they picked on their own the guy to join them. Basically, Michael Stagliano came up with a crazy idea — send Erica Rose packing, and then plant a seed that it was Chris who was responsible for it happening. It was an interesting idea, but it was also one that blew up in his face. Michael was found out for his deception, and the reigning champ is now out of the house instead. Meanwhile, his romantic partner in Rachel Truehart is now alone in the house (and extremely sad).
