“Well [Courtney] brought a lovely little fact up this morning, we have in fact been engaged for nine months as of today. holy crap. love you mucho!”
Ben and Courtney now live in San Francisco after taking their relationship pretty slow in the beginning, and they have at least talked about a wedding over the past few months — even if it is in a lighthearted and teasing fashion. We figure once the two actually do figure out a wedding date, they will let everyone know online.
While “The Bachelor” franchise is often criticized for their couples breaking up, there actually is a pretty good streak going at the moment. The winning couples from the last three editions of the show — Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, Ben and Courtney, and most recently Emily Maynard and Jef Holm — are all still going strong. None of the group has set a firm wedding date just yet, but there are also no signs of trouble — and that is definitely worth celebrating when so many people choose to look at this show with varying degrees of cynicism. The most-recent couple to break up in Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez did so after more than a year of being together, and they certainly gave it every shot they could.
