We already know that Sarah Jessica Parker is going to be guest-starring on an upcoming episode of “Glee” as a boss / mentor for Chris Colfer’s Kurt Hummel while at Vogue Magazine — so it possible that she is also going to test her vocal pipes?
Based on a new message posted by Lea Michele earlier this weekend on Twitter, this is indeed possible:
“Off to the recording studio now to record a song for me
@chriscolfer and SJP!”
This definitely sounds as though this will be a song featuring all three actors — and for those who are curious, it’s certainly not the former “Sex and the City” star’s first time singing for a job. While not everyone may remember the classic Halloween children’s movie “Hocus Pocus,” she will be forever remembered in our hearts for her vocal performance to all of the children of the town. She was a witch in this movie, and her position as a fashion editor for the magazine’s website — a part that may be in some ways inspired by Anna Wintour — may be seen as similarly wicked by some.
Parker is not expected to turn up in the September 13 premiere for the show, but the fact that songs are being recorded for her now likely means that she will be making an appearance in one of the first four episodes. The second installment of the year is the Britney Spears tribute episode, but following that the storyline is relatively clear save for an episode themed around Thanksgiving and one ominously titled “The Break-Up.”
