‘Glee’: Jane Lynch says Emmys will be more than Sue Sylvester

It won’t be all Sue.

When Jane Lynch was announced as the official host for the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 18, one of the questions many people wondered (especially when we all remembered that the show is airing on Fox) was whether or not we are going to see complete and total Sue Sylvester overkill. After all, wouldn’t it make sense for the network to promote “Glee” on one of TV’s most-watched nights?

As smart as this may be, Lynch herself told the Los Angeles Times that she is looking forward to showing off more sides of herself during the ceremony:

“It’s definitely going to be more me than Sue Sylvester. In fact, if Sue were hosting, I don’t think many people would watch it, because a little of Sue goes a long way.”

As the reigning champ in the field of Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, it is easy to say that Lynch is likely the favorite to win the trophy again — however, she is going to have some strong competition in the form of “Modern Family” stars Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen along with the legendary Betty White from “Hot in Cleveland.”

Are you hoping that Jane at least gives a Sue shout-out during the show?
